Daytime Clubbing, Done Differently: Kulture Teams Up with The Playlist DJs for a Big One at Saint Judes, Glasgow.
The dancefloor isn't just for the midnight crowd anymore. Daytime clubbing is rising fast, and one brand leading the charge in Scotland is Kulture Events. Known for their intimate, friendly sessions full of disco and house heat, Kulture are back with their next event on Saturday, May 31st — this time taking over Saint Judes, Glasgow, for a daytime session you won't forget.
With headliners Illyus & Barrientos bringing their trademark blend of high-energy house, expect the kind of atmosphere that brings proper music lovers together. They’ll be joined by the list of DJs in the below image — all delivering sounds that go deep, soulful, and seriously danceable.

What Is Kulture?
We spoke to Locky Kennedy, the man behind Kulture!
Born out of a passion for more personal, community-led dance experiences, Kulture puts micro clubbing at the centre of what they do. As they put it:
"It’s about giving DJs the chance to play — we all know it’s tough to break into the scene when so many doors are locked. At Kulture, new DJs play alongside names on the scene, and even some seasoned legends who've maybe drifted from the decks but are ready to come back."
Kulture’s events are built around inclusivity, good vibes, and unforgettable soundtracks. Whether you come solo or roll in with pals, you'll find a welcoming crowd, safe spaces, and dancefloors where everyone’s on the same level — even the DJs. The events are never about profit. They're about creating shared moments and memories in unique venues.

Why Daytime?
Daytime events are the sweet spot. You get the full clubbing experience with none of the post-3am regret. Kulture’s events usually wrap before midnight — or if you're up for more, they double up as the ultimate pre-party for the night owls.
Expect to dance shoulder-to-shoulder with both DJs and dancers, all powered by a shared love of good music. This isn’t about velvet ropes or VIP booths — it’s about disco lights, deep grooves, and the kind of energy that only comes from a room full of people who actually love music.
Kulture has also run events in support of The Beatson and The Pink Ribbon Foundation, proving this is a team that gives back while they throw down.
What’s Next?
This event at Saint Judes is just the beginning. Kulture is building momentum with:
-
A courtyard garden party with next-level food and decor
-
A new basement venue series in the heart of Glasgow
-
Plans to expand into more venues across Central Scotland
If you're a venue owner or promoter interested in linking up — the Kulture team want to hear from you.
